People often ask why Element Brooklyn doesn’t run constant promo codes or seasonal sales. The short answer: our everyday prices are already as fair as we can make them. The longer answer has to do with how we think about luxury, sustainability, and trust.

We’re not the brand running a new sale every couple of weeks. No Mother’s Day Sale, no Memorial Day Sale, no Earth Day Sale, and no Happy National Llama Day 20% Off Everything situation. There's just one moment a year, around Black Friday, when we do a proper sitewide discount.

Announcing our 2025 Annual Sale

For a limited time, our once-a-year sitewide sale is live. It’s the only time all year where you’ll see discounts like this on everything we make. 

This year's sale is Buy more, save more (discount automatically applied at checkout):

  • 15% off orders under $75
  • 20% off orders $75+
  • 25% off orders $100+
  • 30% off orders $200+

Please note that these thresholds vary slightly in the UK and Australia.

Also note that same-day shipping in New York is suspended through to December 2. We are also not running Warehouse Fridays at our Brooklyn location on November 28. 

Order fulfillment timeframes are slightly longer than usual during the sale. For expedited service, please select Priority shipping at checkout. 

Why We Don’t Run Sales All the Time

Most brands start by deciding what discount they want to shout about, then work backwards: raise prices, pad margins, and build in room for endless promotions. 

We did the opposite.

Element Brooklyn exists because luxury home and body care was overpriced and overpackaged. Our refills are already dramatically cheaper than the designer products they’re inspired by. You’re paying for what matters: the quality formula and the luxurious fragrance.

If we layered constant discounting on top of that, we’d have to start playing the same pricing games we were trying to escape. Instead, we keep everyday prices as low as we can, all year, and save “sale mode” for one intentional moment.


We prefer infrequent sales to "always on" discounts.


A Better Experience for You

Only having one sale per year means:

  • No FOMO, no waiting: You don’t have to time your refill around the next coupon. If you’re out of soap, you can just… buy soap, knowing you’re getting our best everyday price.
  • Transparent pricing: The number you see on the product page is the real number — not something inflated just so it can be “slashed” later.
  • Trust over tricks: We’d rather be predictable and fair than constantly “surprising” you with discounts that were baked into the margin from the start.

How It Ties Into Sustainability

Sales are fun, but they can also quietly encourage overconsumption: buying more than you need, faster than you’ll use it, because the discount clock is ticking. (We take a strong position against Amazon for related reasons.) 

One thoughtfully timed sale lets you stock up on refills you know you’ll use (kitchen + bathroom soaps, your favorite candle scent, products you’re already reaching for) and bundle items efficiently so you’re saving money and reducing shipments and packaging overall.
