We're excited to unveil Whispering Pine, our first-ever limited edition seasonal candle. A hushed hymn to winter, hand-poured in Brooklyn.
What's the fragrance like?
We studied the most beloved pine candles on the market, focusing on those with crisp, true-to-nature fragrances like Thymes Frasier Fir and Trudon Fir, and asked ourselves what makes a truly great winter scent. The answer: restraint. The best Christmas candles don't smell like an air freshener clipped to your rearview mirror. They invoke the magic of the season without invoking cliche.
Whispering Pine is where we landed. Crisp Siberian pine opens into a resinous heart of gaiac wood and myrrh, then settles into a base of absolute incense. Think snow-laden branches, candlelight flickering on needles of green, the hush of a midnight forest.
The vessel
The Whispering Pine jar features an original gold illustration of Grand Army Plaza, the iconic arch and fountain at the entrance to Prospect Park.
