BYOV Candle Pouring
Candle pouring is paused along with Warehouse Fridays. While it's paused, visit us at Gallery of Scent, 192 Front St, New York (South Street Seaport), where we run candle-making workshops.
Give your favorite candle jars a second life. Bring an empty vessel of your choice to our warehouse and we'll transform it into a premium scented candle.
How it works
When Warehouse Fridays reopens you'll be able to book a candle pour slot: bring your vessel and we'll wick it and fill it with the same wax and fragrance oil that we use in our own products.
What to bring
A clean, heat-safe container with a flat base – glass, ceramic, or metal all work. It needs to be completely free of old wax and debris before you arrive. We can't pour into anything cracked, warped, or not designed to handle heat.
What it costs
$25 for a standard candle (1-wick, up to 250g of wax).
Bringing something bigger? You'll pay a multiple based on size – a large 3-wick vessel around 750g runs $75. Select the appropriate size when you book.
Available fragrances
We pour a different signature scent each week.
Our production line is set up to pour one fragrance at a time and it is not possible for us to make exceptions. If there's a specific scent you're after, make sure you book the Friday it's featured.
How long it takes
You'll need to wait about 30 minutes after your pour for the wax to set enough so that it's safe to carry out (allow slightly longer for large and extra large candles). You can leave and come back or browse and shop the showroom.
We close at 5pm and it's not possible for you to return after that time to pick up your candle.
FAQ
